I rarely charge for my work. For me, photography is first and foremost a pleasure, particularly when it supports the work of churches, community groups and schools.

On the other hand, cameras are expensive, particularly the advanced Fujifilm mirrorless cameras which I have been using for the past few years. Their ability to produce striking, pin-sharp images in a wide range of challenging situations, particularly low-light settings like churches and concert halls where flash is not welcome, is one of the reasons I love them. There are many more. But, as always, quality comes at a price.

I hope you have enjoyed the photos on this website. I hope, too, that, if you appear in any of them, you have found the download button which appears on most pages and have shown them to your friends and family or posted them on social media. Better still, you can copy the URL (internet address) from the top of any page and paste it into Facebook or any other app. Your friends will then be able to come here and explore the site for themselves.

If any of these images have made you smile or brightened  someone's day, or if you would simply like to support me in my efforts to make good-quality photos available free of charge to those who would not normally be able to pay for them, please consider making a small contribution to my costs using the link below.

You'll need a PayPal account (I can't find a way around that restriction for now, but PayPal is a great thing to have).  They'll help you sign up if you need to. Then all you have to do is ...

...choose an amount to give and press all the obvious buttons.

And if you do, thank you.

If I received £0.01 each time someone viewed a photo on this site, it would pay for itself.

If you intend to use one of my photos for commercial purposes (i.e. if you plan to make money from it), please consider a donation in line with the usual commercial rates. If you are not sure what these are, don't hesitate to contact me.

I use a Fujifilm XT2, its older brother, the XT1 and, when I need to travel light, the X100T. All three are amazing cameras. The XT1 & XT2 are coupled with the following Fujinon lenses, which cover most shooting situations: XF 14mm f2.8 R; XF 35mm 1.4R; XF 56mm 1.2 R; XF 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR; XF 55-200mm f3.5-4.8 R LM OIS.
